About
Te Aupikinga Mārama refers to the ascent of celestial bodies. These cosmic forces shape the cyclic shifts and forms of our human-non-human world. As tohu (signs, markers, symbols, indicators), we read these bodies in both material and conceptual terms. They evoke ideas about clarity and understanding, and provide points of observation for developing knowledge and living with/in the natural world.
tai timu - tai pari includes two bodies of work that act as wayfinders between papa, and ranginui.
